Faye and Al would’ve celebrated their second wedding anniversary yesterday, and in my usual style, it’s taken me two years to feature their wedding. So today we’re going back to July 2018 for their Asylum Brunswick House wedding. I love Faye and Al; they are the most loved up and laid back couple, with so much positive energy. Their wedding was full of emotion right from the moment I arrived with Faye in the morning, where she was quite literally bouncing off the walls with anticipation. The couple were living in Toronto and had come back to the UK to have a London wedding. It was clear they’re both very family orientated, and so this was a very special occasion for everyone. On arriving at the Asylum, I’m not sure I’ve seen a  groom looking as nervous as Al, but as soon as he set eyes on Faye that all melted away.

Brunswick House Wedding Reception

The ceremony was brilliant, performed by my favourite London registrar, Ricardo. There were plenty of tears and plenty of laughter, not least when a phone started ringing just as Ricardo was presenting them with the marriage certificate. As everyone looked around for the culprit, Faye’s dad held his hand up to admit that it was the guilty party. There was a drinks reception & nibbles at The Asylum before everyone boarded a Routemaster to Brunswick House. This amazing Georgian mansion is full of antiques, wonky floors and higgledy piggledy rooms. I love it and it’s one of my favourite London wedding venues. The afternoon was filled with more drinks, dinner, speeches, an incredible rainbow cake, a beautiful surprise video montage of well wishes for the couple, and dancing in the basement. A relaxed and fun filled day with a brilliant couple,  favourites from Faye and Al’s Asylum wedding are below
