Asylum Chapel & Clapton Country Club Wedding

Asylum Chapel and Clapton Country Club Wedding Photography

Rhiannon & Jamie got married on a supremely wet August day at two of my favourite London wedding venues, Asylum Chapel and Clapton Country Club. Rhi & Jamie brought all the colour to their day, from the pink and red flowers by the talented Gita of Greta in Flowers, to those red velvet Jimmy Choo’s and Jamie’s exquisite powder blue suit. The day started at the La La Lit where Rhiannon and the girls got ready, before taking black cabs to The Asylum. The Asylum always looks beautiful, but it looked especially so filled with all the gorgeous flowers and candles. Cocktails followed the confetti, then it was all aboard a bus to Clapton Country Club for more drinks, dinner and dancing. The dance floor was full all night (and Rhiannon and Jamie booked my unlimited coverage, so I can say that with authority), a combination of the up-for-it party crowd, and the amazing tunes from Anna Greenwood of the Wedding Smashers. I last saw Anna DJ wearing a fairy lit see through dress when she DJ’d at the Festival of Love Big Wedding Weekend back in 2014. Ten years later she is still rocking a party like no other. Some favourites from R&J’s gorgeous wedding at The Asylum and Clapton Country Club below, along with links for all their suppliers at the end of the post. Enjoy!

We absolutely love the pictures, they’re absolutely spectacular! So many absolute crackers in there – thank you! We wanted to thank you for being such a calming presence in the lead up to and on the day itself. It was such a pleasure to have you there, we’re so grateful. ”
