WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT STUBTON HALL // LINDSEY & ALASTAIR
Wedding photography at Stubton Hall, a gorgeous Nottinghamshire wedding venue which has been voted ”one of the 100 best wedding venues in the world” by Brides magazine. Stubton Hall was the setting for the April wedding of Lindsey and Alastair, which has a lovely spring time feel to it. True to form, April has been a rainy month to say the least, often showing 4 seasons in one day. This was one such day. Whilst Lindsey was having her make up and hair done, the weather went from bright sunshine to torrential rain and hail with the odd clap of thunder thrown in for good measure. The make up artist and I ran around the room turning on every lamp just so she could continue with the task in hand. The sun shone for the couple to say their vows, and the rain stayed away long enough for guests to enjoy their drinks outside. The gorgeous Chocolate Bar provided a cosy retreat for when the heavens opened once again. The speeches took place before a completely vegetarian wedding breakfast (yum) and the evening saw the guests flinging each other round the dance floor for a ceilidh. Some favourites are below
