Northbourne Park School Wedding // Kent Weddings
One hot July day in 2016, I headed to the pretty seaside town of Deal in Kent, to photograph Lizzie & Richard’s wedding. The day started with everyone getting ready at the family home, with equal amounts of preparations for the girls and the for beautiful vintage cars that would take them to the wedding. Northbourne Park School has a very pretty little church in its grounds, and this is where the wedding ceremony took place. The heat of the day was broken by a torrential downpour and everyone took cover in the marquee and got stuck into the delicious canapés, and soon enough it was back to blue skies, with the odd downpour and rainbow thrown in for good measure. Dinner was served, the head of each table carving for his companions, before it was time for cake and speeches and dancing. Lawn games and bacon sandwiches at sundown and that rounded off Lizzie & Richard’s wedding rather nicely.
