Villa Eva Ravello Wedding
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Ravello, high up on Italy’s rugged Amalfi coast, you’ll find Villa Eva, the gorgeous venue that was the location for the sublimely elegant, yet wildly raucous, black tie wedding of Lawrence & Adam. You couldn’t hope to meet two more beautiful souls than Adam and Loz, nor a couple who are more in love and completely in sync with each other. Both deeply close to their families, this day was not just about them, but those closest to them.
Wedding Photography on Italy’s Amalfi Coast
The celebrations began with a pizza, Prosecco and Peroni party in the square the night before the wedding day. And what a day it was. With a bold red and pink colour scheme, bridesmaids in white, guests in black, and the grooms in white tuxes, this was one sartorially stylish wedding. A personal ceremony with vows that still make me tear up when I remember the words spoken, rainbow smoke cannons at the moment of the first kiss, a sun-soaked drinks reception, some of the best speeches I’ve ever heard (and I have heard thousands in my 17+ years as a wedding photographer…) and a wild dance floor.
Villa Eva was the perfect location for their wedding; grand yet intimate, romantic, full of history, and occupying the highest point in Ravello with some truly breathtaking views. To say I adore these two would be a huge understatement. Documenting their day was a dream and myself and Steve (who filmed it) had the best time with Adam and Loz, their families and friends. Villa Eva occupies an an enviable position on the edge of the hill, and is the highest building in Ravello, with breathtaking views of the sea below. The gardens are lush at the villa itself is beautiful. Your ceremony can be held outside with views over the water, with the drinks reception in the main gardens, and dinner under the semi covered terrace with views out to sea. The dancefloor and evening bar are inside the villa.

No, Villa Eva is an events only venue, but there are plenty of hotels within walking distance and Ravello is a very small and compact town. There are hotels for all budgets, from the uber luxe Villa Cimbrone and Caruso, to those that you won’t need to take out a second mortgage to stay at…
