Two Temple Place Wedding // Kirsty & Mark
Kirsty and Mark’s Two Temple Place wedding took place on an autumnal day last year and was full of atmosphere. Unsurprising given the location of both the ceremony and the reception; the ‘journalists’ church’, St Brides, on Fleet Street, and the magnificent Two Temple Place on London’s Embankment. Two amazing London wedding venues.
I started the day at Kirsty’s parents’ house, in a leafy square in North London, where she was getting ready with her parents and friends. I travelled to the church with Kirsty’s family, whilst Kirsty and her dad arrived in style in her friend Khalid’s incredible car. The ceremony at St Brides church took place mid-afternoon, and following this we went for a wander on the back streets around St Brides, wending our way to Two Temple Place. We arrived at dusk, just as it started to rain. After a champagne reception, it was on to dinner in the Great Hall, followed by espresso martinis (THE best way to kick off the evening party), cakes galore, and dancing.
I took a few of my favourites images of 2019 at Kirsty and Mark’s wedding, and won awards from both WPJA and This is Reportage for them. you can check out those images and more in my Best of 2019 post.

“Lyndsey, I really think you are the best photographer on the planet. Thank you for working so hard and for an absolutely fantastic set of photos – you would not believe how many people have complimented you to me and they haven’t even seen the photos yet! Thank you for finding such lovely photos for my granny – I know she will be particularly pleased to see my dad in them as well which was really thoughtful of you. You have perfectly captured the ceremony and WOW the party. I really really love them all and stayed up til 2am just going over and over them”
