POUNDON HOUSE WEDDINGS // SANGEETHA & BEN
Poundon House weddings have the benefit of being held in a beautiful, privately owned country house, set in acres of idyllic countryside on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders, with a lovely old house to get ready in, an outdoor patio for the ceremony and a large marquee for the reception. Sangeetha and Ben had a great day planned at Poundon House, starting off with a traditional Kerala ceremony, followed by afternoon tea served in the stunning grounds. A Glee choir who had seamlessly mingled with the guests flash mobbed half way through the tea and performed some incredible acapella numbers. Then it was back into the stunning house to change for the civil ceremony, which was performed outside on Poundon House’s terrace, the September winds threatening to bring the awning down over the whole wedding party! It certainly added some drama as Sangeetha and Ben said their vows. Dinner was served in a marquee in the grounds, incredible south Indian fare provided by Rasa. Speeches and dancing followed, including a choreographed Bollywood dance performed by the wedding party. As usual, some favourites below.
