Home House Wedding // Natasha & Coryn
On a bright, crisp Saturday just before last Christmas, I headed into London to photograph Natasha & Coryn’s Home House wedding. Tash got ready in one of the suites above this beautiful private member’s club on Portman Square, in a room so vast and so lovely and ”bigger than my flat” to quote one of Tash’s bridesmaids. The deep and opulent furnishings set the mood perfectly. Natasha was a wonderful bride to photograph, smiling all morning and so excited about the day ahead. We took cabs down town to the church, the tiny and tucked away Queen’s Chapel of The Savoy just off the Strand, the Queen’s own private chapel, no less. The ceremony was beautiful; by the time it started it was already dark outside, so there was an air of ethereal magic, with the choirboys dressed in festive red and low lighting. A Routemaster took everyone back to Home House where champagne and mini fish and chip canapés awaited before we sat for dinner in the stunning dining room. The wine flowed, and guests adorned themselves with tattoo transfers of the newlyweds. Cute touch! On to speeches, the cutting of the cake and the couple’s first dance. Dance offs with mini storm troopers and confetti balloons followed. A joyful day with a sweet and lovely couple, these are some favourites from Natasha & Coryn’s Home House Wedding.
