SPAIN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY // MICHELLE & BEN

Earlier this year, whilst the rest of the country waved flags and gorged themselves on street parties and trifle, I had my busiest week of weddings ever; 4 in 7 days, and the 3rd one of those was in the tiny coastal town of Moraira, on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Whilst the UK drowned in a sea of bunting and a year’s worth of rain, my very dear friend Michelle said ”I do” in 37 degree heat and the bluest, cloudless sky imaginable. The day before the wedding, family and friends gathered at Michelle and Ben’s villa to swim, sunbathe and do justice to a BBQ cooked up by a ‘professional’, otherwise known as ‘an Australian’. Ben’s family had travelled from Australia, and Michelle’s from the UK, with friends coming from all over. The day was relaxed and happy, the mood celebratory. For most couples the day before their wedding is one of stress and last minute organisation, so it was a real pleasure to see Michelle and Ben so relaxed, surrounded by the people closest to them.
