WPJA 2013 Q3 – Award Winning Photographs. A lovely way to round off 2013, I have been placed twice in the most recent Wedding Photojournalist Association awards. Rather fittingly given last night and today’s horrendous weather, my two awards came in the ‘Weather’ category. Louise and Tim’s Latimer Place wedding provided one of the winning shots, with Louise’s incredible vertical veil which made a bid for freedom, only to be tethered by new husband Tim. The second shot came from Cindy and Michael’s Windsor wedding, where gale force winds made for some wayward umbrella action.

This was one of my favourite categories and one of my favourite pictures. This is just fun and also super sweet moment between the couple.

These are great captures. Love the first one with veil being swept up. Congratulations.
