2015 WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS – FINALIST FOR BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

The Wedding Industry Awards take place every year in the UK, and there are categories for every supplier within the wedding industry, from hair and make up artists, to caterers and live bands, and of course, photographers. Unlike many competitions which are judged purely by a panel or an individual, with The Wedding Industry Awards, you are judged not only on your body of work, but on what your past clients have to say. It’s not just a box ticking exercise, or yes/no questions,and the couples who took the time to vote for me have overwhelmed me with their kind words and comments, which you can read at the bottom of this post.

To have won Best Wedding Photographer in London and the South East would have been nice, sure, (that accolade went to a good buddy of mine and I’ll be rooting for him to win the National Award now too!)  but I am thoroughly chuffed to have been shortlisted for the award. The best part about entering is not the shiny badge I get to display on my website, but getting to read through the comments submitted by the brides and grooms who voted for me. As you’ll see, this is an old post. My patience paid off and I went on to be highly commended in the 2016 awards and win the 2017 Best Wedding Photographer in London and then the National Finals award of Best Wedding Photographer in England.
