Porto Wedding
Claire & Sam travelled from New York for their 3 day destination wedding in Porto with their closest family and friends. I joined them to photograph the whole weekend and it was the most joyous and carefree celebration, full of laughter, sunshine, amazing views, incredible food and, of course, plenty of Porto’s finest booze. A welcome dinner at an intimate and iconic restaurant, Mistu, kicked things off, with a picnic at Churchill’s garden bar the following day. The bar is in Gaia and has the most incredible views of Porto. They also make a pretty mean white Port and tonic. Day 3 started off with the girls getting ready at The Rebello before heading over to Mira Mira, a rooftop restaurant, for the wedding. Following an intimate ceremony led by their best friend, there was more food, some speeches, and dancing. I loved getting to know these amazing women and spend time with them and the people that mean the most to them, all with the backdrop of the beautiful city of Porto.
Booking Lyndsey as our photographer was hands down the easiest decision we made for our wedding. Lyndsey photographed our 3-day wedding weekend in Porto in May, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. What struck me most when looking through our galleries, is that her documentary-style photos look like art, with each shot capturing the emotion, energy, and essence of the entire weekend. Her eye for unique moments and beautiful details brought our celebration to life in a way we didn’t think possible, and yet, we have a few hundred shots that do just that.

Beyond her immense talent, Lyndsey is simply a joy to be around. She’s warm, thoughtful, and blended in effortlessly with our guests, making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. As the weekend progressed, it felt like she was just another friend along for the festivities – just one with a serious gift behind the camera. We feel so lucky that she was with us all weekend, and I can’t imagine not having her photos to commemorate the best weekend of our lives.
