Winchester House Wedding // Holly & Johnny
A London wedding by the river, 100’s of purple balloons and some very stormy skies. Holly and Jonathan got married in their home town of London, with their ceremony taking place at the lovely All Saints Church in Fulham and the reception a short stroll across the bridge at Winchester House. The day started at Holly’s family home with her bridesmaids and her mum and dad , whilst the brilliant Rob of Shooting Hip spent the morning with Jonathan and his groomsmen, who had brunch and drinks a few miles away at Raoul’s (a venue I am familiar with having shot Anita and Mathieu’s day here). Onto the church where we waved goodbye to Rob and the couple said their vows in front of their family and friends, then afterwards, armed with a single purple balloon each, the guests made their way across the river where they released them into the very black skies above London. The marquee at the front of Winchester House was beautifully decorated in shades of purple, pink and lime green, festooned with pompoms, and with the tables named after some of the couples favourite games; “You’re sitting next to me on Shithead”….! After canapés and champagne the wedding breakfast got underway, followed by speeches and then cheese and coffee in the library before the evening celebrations got underway and the dancing began. Some favourites from Holly and Jonathan’s London wedding are below
