Wembury Beach Wedding // Sinead & Jon
Wembury beach is a stunningly rugged spot on the south Devon coast, a high cliff topped with a picture perfect church. This lovely little church was the setting for Sinéad and Jon’s nuptials on a blustery day last October. The girls got ready at nearby St Elizabeth’s House, and fortified by chips and champagne (that classic pre wedding combo), they set off to the church where Jon was waiting for his stunning bride to be. After the ceremony, the guests joined in for a rousing singalong to The Beatles ‘All You Need is Love” as the couple exited the church into bright sunshine which immediately turned into thunderous rain and 5 minutes later back to sun again. Taking advantage of the break in the weather, we headed to the beach for a few portraits, before making our way back to St Elizabeth’s House for the reception. Drinks were followed by dinner, which was followed by speeches. Sinéad’s dad had organised a little surprise for the couple; an amazing African dance troupe who brought such an energy to the room not to mention great music. Shortly after the couple had their first dance, and the floor was officially opened and stayed full all night. Congratulations to Sinéad and Jon and some favourites below
