The Elvetham Wedding Photography // Nilgun & Mark

The Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire is a stunning red brick mansion, with sweeping staircases, beautiful stained glass windows and ornate architecture, set in beautiful gardens. Nilgun and Mark chose the Elvetham for their June wedding, and I went along to photograph the day. The girls got ready at the hotel, along with Nilgun’s father who had travelled from Turkey for his daughter’s big day. The ceremony took place within the hotel in the Oak Room, and afterwards guests enjoyed champagne outside, albeit briefly due to inclement weather, when a move indoors become necessary. On to the wedding breakfast held in the conservatory, where tables were named after exotic destinations the intrepid couple have visited together. Speeches followed, which had laughter and tears in equal measures. The couple opened the dance floor with their first dance, and a live band played some lovely jazz classics.  I was joined on the day by documentary wedding photographer Stephen Bunn, who was shooting only with the Fuji X100s in order to write a review for it, which you can see here. A great day at The Elevtham in Hampshire for Nilgun and Mark’s wedding, some favourites are below
