Shustoke Farm Barns Wedding // Fran & Stu

Remember when the days were still long and warm? When you could sit outside and listen to the birds singing, feeling the warmth of the sun on your face? When the golden fields of corn were filled with the sight and sound of combine harvesters? It was on a day such as this, at beautiful Shustoke Farm Barns, that Fran and Stu got married. Fran got ready with her sister, best friends and mum. There was champagne, banana nesquick and laughter. A pale blue vintage Rolls Royce took Fran to Shustoke where Stu and the guests were eagerly awaiting her arrival. The ceremony in the barn was beautiful, filled with the emotion and laughter of a couple so deeply and giddily in love, they just can’t contain themselves. Cold beers were on hand after the ceremony, and much needed on what was one of the hottest days of the year. Whilst guests enjoyed the sun, the Corona and the canapés, the staff at Shustoke got the barn ready for the wedding breakfast. As a wedding photographer, I see many venues up and down the country, but there are few as stunning as Shustoke. It has a warmth and a magical glow about it which I just love. This, coupled with attentive and professional staff, make it a top choice for anyone looking for a stunning wedding venue in Warwickshire. The day continued with a delicious dinner and speeches from the main players; proud dad Ken, Stu and his best men. After dinner, we took a walk to the cornfields, where the light was soft and golden, and took some portraits. The farmers were in the process of cutting the corn, and popped over to say hi with their very cute dog and took our bride for a spin in their combine harvester. The sun set and the braziers were lit. Fran threw her bouquet (twice, to ensure it was caught by the right person ;-)), the cake was cut, and the couple took to the floor for their first dance. Dancing fuel was provided in the form of hot dogs and toasted marshmallows. An absolute privilege and a pleasure to photograph Fran and Stu’s day, some favourites from their gorgeous Shustoke Farm Barns wedding are below.

Lovely set Lyndsey, some great moments. You’ve caught the guys shaking hands across the aisle perfectly, along with loads of other brilliant moments! I really should swing by your blog a lot more regularly.
