One Great George Street Wedding

One Great George Street Wedding

A One Great George street wedding up today. I have been neglecting my blog of late; wedding upon wedding has left me with little time to share them with you. I have about 10 weddings and counting to share, so let’s go back to the second week of June, when the Jubilee madness was dying down. The weather had been relentlessly rubbish, and you could count on one hand how many sunny, blue sky days we’d had. Jane and Alan’s wedding day was one of these days though. The couple had opted to hold both the ceremony and reception at central London venue, One Great George Street, a grand building with amazing high ceilings and glittering chandeliers. It also benefits from having the most dedicated and professional wedding planner in Aoife, who ensures that the day runs like a dream. Jane and her bridesmaids got ready at One Great George Street, and despite a minor mishap (a bridesmaid’s zip breaking clean off, she had to be sewn into her strapless dress; brave girl), Jane walked down the aisle on time. After a ceremony with a few tears (real men DO cry), the couple were toasted by family and friends before whizzing off around town for a few photos. Onto dinner and speeches, then onto the dancing.  Fantastic couple, fantastic day

Beautiful work, Lyndsey. Elegant and informal at the same time. And the shots with the veil blowing in the wind are stunning!

What great use of light. See what you meant about the group shot – it really works.

Fabulous images Lyndsey! Love the bridal prep shots, the wind in the veil is a perfect shot, and the toastmaster image is perfect!
