An Oatlands Park Hotel wedding. Set in acres of stunning grounds, the hotel was the setting for Jo and James’ winter wedding. This was my first wedding of 2012 and a great one to start back with; James is the eldest brother of a great friend of mine so there were plenty of familiar faces (youngest brother Andy was married to Clare last July at the Surrey Golf Club, you can see that wedding here ). After the ceremony guests enjoyed canapes and champagne, the braver ones enjoying them out in the chilly winter sun, overlooking the lake. All three brothers made a best man’s speech, following the precedent set last year, before afternoon tea was served. The evening saw some crooning in the bar before the couple took to the floor with the first dance. Some favourites are below.
