Kent Wedding Photography – Jessica and Paul

The first Saturday in September, and the weather was calm and warm and perfectly suited  to the amazing wedding Jessica and Paul had planned. The day started at Jessica’s parents’ rambling cottage, with Jessica and her sisters (including her twin, Katie) kitted out in matching PJ’s. There was plenty of giggling as they had their hair and make up done (expertly I might add, by the fantastic Powder and Glow and Simply Beautiful Wedding Hair.) Once everyone was in their wedding finery, we set off to Finchcocks, a fantastic Kent wedding venue which doubles as a musical instrument museum. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed champagne and Pimms in the lovely gardens before the wedding breakfast. The wedding had a woodland theme and this was continued with the food, which was all seasonal and local. Speeches followed the meal and not long after, whilst the sun started to set in the sky, it was off to the next destination. Unique, personal, and so ‘them’ , the evening party was a mini festival, set in private woodland with a wooden barn built entirely by Paul and housing a band and the dance floor! There was a hog roast, fairy lights, and bridal yurts for everyone to camp. I left the party (reluctantly) stinking of wood smoke but having had a truly amazing day surrounded by wonderful people. Some favourites from this fab woodland wedding are below

    Great work Lyndsey,
Lots of lovely moments captured just the right time. I especially like the one with the girl flying with open arms, you can feel her full trust in the man to catch her.
