Christening Photography in London – Alice

As a London wedding photographer, it’s no surprise that when stepping inside churches with my camera it is usually to take reportage photos of couples saying ”I do.” A couple of weeks ago, on a torrentially wet  Sunday afternoon, the De Los Rios family and their friends gathered together in St Peter’s, a majestic church on Clerkenwell Road, to have their baby daughter, Alice, baptised. I am fortunate enough to have documented major milestones in the lives of Alice’s parents, Carmela and Valerio, namely their wedding (a sun drenched affair in picture perfect Sorrento on Italy’s Amalfi coast, which you can see here) and baby Alice when she was just a few days old (see those pictures here). After the Christening, everyone decamped to The Easton, a great gastropub tucked away off Roseberry Avenue. Sunday lunches were devoured whilst wetting the baby’s head with some good red wine, and in true Italian style, a ridiculously sweet and delicious cake had been made by Carmela’s mother in law.

Viva Alice!

Some favourites from the day are below, as always comments are welcomed
